NCT Breastfeeding Support

Breastfeeding counsellors are mums who themselves have breastfed, and have completed an NCT course on the many aspects of breastfeeding. Whilst the Branch is committed to the principle that "Breast is Best", counsellors support all parents in their chosen feeding method. You do not have to be a member of NCT to contact our counsellors and there is no charge for their services.

La Leche League

La Leche League supports breastfeeding and has local counsellors avaliable to help you. The League also has a regular group meeting every month providing information and support at any stage of breastfeeding (all babies, toddlers and pre-schoolers welcome). You do not have to be a member of La Leche League to contact their counsellors and there is no charge for their services.

Local groups

Asides from the La Leche League regular group, there is also a breastfeeding group that meet Mondays 1-3pm during term time at Leatherhead Trinity Children's Centre, Aperdele Road, Leatherhead, KT22 7QT. This group is for mothers who are breastfeeding or interested to find out more. Health professionals are on hand each week to give support and advice. Egnell Breast Pump Hire

A breast pump is invaluable if you want baby to have breast milk even when you are not around. Pumps can help to increase milk supply and allow baby to have breast milk even when physical contact is not possible. These portable and light weight pumps can be hired on a weekly or longer basis.
